Senior Computer Programmer

Supervise a team of programmers in writing, analyzing, reviewing & rewriting hotel management software with integrated credit card payment handling software, utilizing algorithm & performance analysis. Responsibilities include supervising programmers in interfacing automated debit card processing at properties through the property management system via a seamless application; implementing Canadian debit cards & signature capture; developing a seamless automated credit card processing interface for property management systems; implementing credit card security tokenization feature to help keep data secure & reduce merchant storage of credit card numbers; implementing encryption & security measures for projects, after analyzing different encryption methods; providing technical application support for existing projects & developing enhancements as needed; uses Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL and Oracle External Foreign Application Interfaces; evaluating interrelationships between programs to determine whether contemplated changes in one part of a program will cause unwanted results in a related part; analyzing performance of programs & taking action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users; testing & developing modifications; & writing operational instructions.

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related
• Two years experience as computer programmer, software engineer or related
• Experience in credit card handling software, including interfacing automated debit card
• Experience in developing automated credit card processing interface
• Experience in implementing credit security tokenization
